We are proud to sell this very special Simplex D, Deluxe Tombstone Tube Radio. This radio has a magnificent oval shaped cabinet and dial. The cabinet measure 16” tall and 13” wide. In our mind, this is a standout radio for any serious radio collector that appreciate round and oval shaped radio.
The chassis is sold as not working and we recommend that you bring the radio to an electronics specialist before attempting to play it.
The wooden cabinet has most of its original finish. The top has been refinished and matches well with the original finish. The original finish is in very good condition and show some signs of use and age around the control knobs. The all important wooden back panel is present.
We have replaced the grill cloth and dial face with exact reproductions.
