The value of replacing the dial lens on your Catalin radios is to enhanced the radio's display quality.  It is a simple thing to do that will make your display case sparkle and add value of each radio. 

There is a difference between the dial lens we sell compared to others.  The advanced lens material is PETG plastic. The attributes are:

Crystal Clear- High gloss outer finish

No Distortion- No blurriness around the contours

Robust- 1/3 Thicker

Crisp Molding- The PETG plastic materials is heated and vacuumed into shape using newly designed and crisp molds.  Others used molds made years ago that have worn and the lens impressions are lower quality.

Impact Resistant- Does not lose its shape

Durability- Product life is long
